Be A Machine – Playable Robots

So this little mod here will allow you to play as the 3 robots that so happen to share the same files for some things.

The Assaultron, Protectron, and Sentry Bot. You will have to choose which one you want to play as, because after you do theres no going back.

—Ok so I want to make this clear here.. This replaces the power armors skeleton and behavior files and moved it into a different folder for npcs. You cannot enter the power armor while this mod is active, it will crash the game. The game crashes if you so much as try to redirect it to another folder or even change the name, but for npcs it kinda works, but their animations are kinda messed up like dying but you came for the robots right? No power armor for you.—

So you need to enable the main file and enable a skin of which robot you wanna play as. if you do not enable a skin or load a old save your character model will be invisible. You can still move and stuff but you wont be able to see your robot. SOO this will only work if you start a new game and do the boring intro again or you can just skip it all together with a console command.

So to skip the intro you need to enter “coc vault111ext” and it will spawn you in front of a black orb where you enter vault 111. If you want to do the main quest, walk into it and it will trigger the main story.

If you do not skip the intro you will miss out of a couple goodies that are in the skins so i would skip the intro if you wanna get them. “coc vault111ext”

Standing while pressing left attack or right attack will do a basic attack.

Moving forward while pressing left attack or right attack will do a power attack.

Blocking can be actiavted by pressing both left and right attack, Protectrons cant seem to block even if i do be a block animation in there.

You can shoot with both weapons a left and right gun, but the left one only works on a single shot, no auto holding down shots. The left guns are from robots own weapons so you cannot use two guns if you equip a gun that takes both slots.

Protectron and Assaultrons have a Head laser that can be used by pressing the bash/power attack (Left Alt or RB)

Sentry bots have these bomb launchers that can be used with the sneak key/button and the Bash/power Attack key/button (Left Alt or RB)

If you choose to disable this mod, delete all the files so it doesn’t effect what it changes.

You can use all guns but the mesh will not appear in your hands due to the fact theres no real skeleton here so i made it to size 0, so you wont see a fatman under your feet.

Your limbs can and will be destroyed but don’t worry they will automatically repair itself overtime unless synths.

If you want to be a lady bot just enter “sexchange”.

If you want to be a lady bot and do the intro, be at the main menu and enter “prid 14” and “sexchange” and choose new game. There may be some unwanted side effects so its best to “sexchange” after leaving vault 111.

Alright, I just figured out a way to get your robot model loaded onto a old save.

Now if you want to be one of the robots you need to only load the main mod, do not load any skins. now load your own save and change the race into the robot you want. enter setrace 1assaultron or setrace 1protectron or setrace 1sentrybot, and now it will be a invisible robot but now you have to save, quit and pick a skin you want for that robot and after you loaded it up it will display the model onto your old save, note you do not get any goodies doing it this way.

You can also change their animations by changing the race. if you turn a 1protectron into a 1assaultron, the protectron will be animated like the assaultron and will look badass while doing so. Pretty cool huh.

Best to use this with 3rd person camera mod like the Life Is Strange Camera angle (3rd Person Camera) one.

Theres a way to good the goodies without starting a new game. Just spawn a clone of yourself with “player.placeat me 7” then kill it and it wil have the items u start with.
