Clean Compass

OVERVIEW

Clean Compass removes all markers from the compass, with the exception of quest markers. I’ve excluded the quest markers since those can be toggled on/off within the game. This allows the discovery of new locations to no longer be ruined by the compass, but will still allow you to know which direction you are travelling in.

Note: Unfortunately, if you are already using another mod that modifies HUDMenu.swf (Ormus Immersive UI for example), those changes will be overwritten. Ideally this mod will become more configurable and customizable over time, but this is it for now.

INSTALLATION

Extract the ZIP file directly into your Fallout 4 directory (i.e. C:\steamlibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4)
If you have not already done so, edit Fallout4.ini (“C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini”) and change:

sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\

to

sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, INTERFACE\
