These sets give you the freedom to give Dogmeat some extra defence and/or perk like skills.
It focuses on increasing build synergy and personalisation of your canine companion.
It allows you to craft him his unique, personal armor suit that fits your build.
Based on S.P.E.C.I.A.L.Costumes but with our canine treatment!

*About (Set 1)

(Set 1) is an all’round tool kit and preview of our Canine line with survivability and combat enhancement gear).
Being a preview it is made to fit well with about any build and can help a.o. to keep Dogmeat alive a bit longer.

It contains
7 Collars,
7 Helmets
and 7 slotted Torso armor with Legendary / perk effects.
Each with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perk system in mind.
This beta mod has been playtested
+/- 20 hours with 70+ mods
and was made with our
S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
Costumes

(S)trong Back – More Carry Weight
(P)owerful Paws – Less chance to get staggered and pushed
(E)nhanced Life – Slight lifesteal on hit,…. if his opponent isn’t a robot he heals a bit
(C)hameleon – Chameleon effect while sneaking. Perfect for ambush playstyle and de-aggro
(I)ntelligent Dog – Knows how to avoid some armor, so the tougher the mobs the higher his damage
(A)gile Steps – Has a lower “spotted” aggro profile, and makes him sometimes lose enemies when he breaks line of sight
(L)ucky Reflect – a portion of Melee damage gets reflected back with a set percentage (we all hate seeing Dogmeat get hit)

All Costumes by “S.P.E.C.I.A.L.Costumes”
Have weave and miscellaneous slots enabled.
Vanilla unlock through quests and perks.
So If restrictions are met.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L.Costumes can be modified, are Legendary gear slot enabled.
Only have hardcoded EITM mods and since we do not use OMOD’s you can add a Legendary effect if you want.

Why beta?

Ok, beta might be a strong word, the mod works (sofar flawless) and has been playtested for hours upon hours
However we, and the whole mod community are waiting for our tools. Currently we are working with basics.
That means we can not script too complicated stuff and implement all the things we want.

We are a 2 man code team and SirenMel who does the artwork and creative input S.P.E.C.I.A.L.Costumes is our first published mod.
Everything was playtested and we made balance guidelines ourself based around our years of Fallout experience.
We both have well over 200 hours on the clock in Fallout 4 alone and that is without mod structure tests.
I have played Fallout since FO1, Pyrosurgery played it since FO2 and we want to make sure that
the S.P.E.C.I.A.L.Costumes named releases feel right in the Fallout universe.
The mod has been on my mind for a while so we had to make it.
and enjoyed it so much we decided to release it as bonus

Once more powerfull tools are available we aim to release 7 unique Canine sets focussed on each S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

try our human/ghoul gear it fits better on characters.

WHAT? I CAN HAVE S.P.E.C.I.A.L. COSTUMES TOO??

Yes,
For all our character + follower Costumes follow the “Brand new Costumes” link up there ^
(Our character gear allows you to grab the looks you love with the stats you need!)

Anything it wont do?

Does not overwrite files, not even textures or vanilla texture input.
So it can be customised with 3rd party mods.
It will not do the dishes or vacuum your house,…. we tried.

I love the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. for Canines any word on your Character Costumes getting this too?

In the future most likely, Published under S.P.E.C.I.A.L.Costumes Bonus as standalone packs
(bonus lore pack preview can be found in the main NMM download).

For now we want to keep our S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Costumes around vanilla and balanced.
The way we have our mod allows full range of customisation for the user.
The craftsystem is rock solid and items created have unique REFID’s.
All 3rd party mods overwrites are enabled for all but the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats.
