Unlike traditional scope mods that manipulate textures or FOV, TrueThroughScope performs actual dual-pass rendering to create authentic 3D scope views with realistic optical effects.
Scope Mods Comparison
– SeeThroughScope: Achieves scope views by zooming the player’s FOV. Performance: Negligible
– FakeThroughScope: Simulates a scope by capturing and zooming the screen buffer after TAA. Performance: Medium (~10-15% FPS)
– TrueThroughScope: Renders the scene twice using a dedicated second camera for authentic 3D optical effects. Performance: High (~25-45% FPS). Frame Generation Recommended.
