Modern Gunplay, Animations & Roleplaying
LoreOut is built off of Lunar Fallout Overhaul Deluxe and You Are Exceptional for a unique roleplaying experience. Skills are added back to the game, perks matter, weapons are rebalanced. Weapons have been completely modernized while staying lore-friendly. No more ugly pipe weapons with 2015 animations. No more shooting enemies 50 times in the face while they shrug it off. Gunplay should feel smooth, realistic and deadly. Aiming for the weak spots of enemies will kill them fast but be careful, as they can do the same to you.
Visuals, Atmosphere & World
NAC X weathers, Reactor ENB and a plethora of landscape, water, foliage and other overhauls will bring the game’s visuals to modern standards. Everything that can be modernized has been modernized. From small clutter to weapons to buildings. NPCs have also been re-imagined based on concept art or with care to the NPC’s personality and style. Finally, every tool has been utilized to ensure that the games LODs and precombines are done the right way, ensuring both visual fidelity and consistency anywhere in the Commonwealth.
New Armors, Weapons & Collectibles
You will not run out of things to collect in LoreOut. Items have been placed all around the world or injected into leveled lists to make sure that every enemy can have a chance for some unique loot. Tons of new armor sets, clothing sets and weapons dot the landscape and raider inventories. Sticking to lore, you won’t find modern real-life weapons. Instead, LoreOut adds weapons that were confirmed to exist in previous games or mentioned in canon. Along your travels, you will also find unique items that give you special bonuses to your stats and abilities. Make sure to check every container!
Quests, Lands & Settlements
LoreOut adds plenty of new quests and content to extend your playtime. With classic and highly acclaimed mods such as Fourville, America Rising 2, Tales of the Commonwealth and more. New companions such as Molly will join you on your travels as you experience these mods in stunning detail. Every mod has been checked for consistency, balance, bugfixes and patches. The settlement system has been simplified with the Rebuild Collection AIO. This lets you repair settlements so that you can personally decorate and populate them to your liking. If you somehow manage to do all the content in LoreOut, don’t worry, LoreOut is designed for replayability so that no 2 playthroughs are the same.
Performance, Requirements & Stability
LoreOut is highly optimized for the visuals that you will receive. Fallout 4 Frame Generation is included by default, ini settings have been optimized, precombined have been built, LODs are beautiful without tanking frames. Not to mention, we are constantly providing support in the Discord and squashing bugs as they come up.
