Blues Radio

Replaces all 29 tracks on Classical Radio with blues recordings from the ’20s-’40s. This mod was inspired by lugaruclone’s wonderful “Radio Blues” mod for Fallout 3. I didn’t reuse any tracks from that mod, but I have included a few songs by the same artists to give it a similar feel.

The atmosphere while exploring the wasteland is enhanced in a really unique way while listening to these old blues songs. I’ve also made slight adjustments to each track to make them sound more tinny, like they’re actually being played through the pipboy. I believe this enhances the atmosphere even further.

I don’t plan on stacking multiple songs under the same track like some other mods have, but I will add more once the G.E.C.K. is released. There are two versions of “Blues Radio”, one which only replaces the songs on Classical Radio, and one that also replaces the main menu song with “Hard Time Killin’ Floor Blues” by Skip James.

Installation:

1) Download the version you would like; with or without main menu music replacement.

2) Extract the contents of the .zip to your Data folder (Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Data).

3) Open your Fallout4.ini and replace “sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\” with “sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\”.
