Clean HUD – Immersive Presets for DEF_HUD
Big time kudos to Neanka, author of the amazing DEF_HUD.
Endorse it and shit. No, really. It deserves it.
Choose between 4 different presets
Main Features (Default Preset): super small text, super small HP and AP bars placed at the bottom corners of the screen, no compass (only NESW indicators at the top of the screen), CLEAN, everything moved away from the center of the screen.
Default Preset for an immersive, but not clueless experience (see screenshots).
Full Compass Preset for those who want to know where the fuck they’re going.
With the Cleaner Preset you’d better count your ammo and AP, because your HUD certainly won’t.
For the Professional Immersionists, pick the Immersive preset to get rid of pretty much everything except your HP bar and pop-up menus. Rated “I” for Immersive.
Installation:
You’ll of course need Neanka’s mod for these presets to work: DEF_HUD – Fully tunable HUD by Neanka
Download and install his mod, then mine. Version 1.1 is live and NMM compatible! Simply download with Manager and activate, otherwise download manually, extract, and drop the “interface” folder in your Fallout 4 Data folder; merge (and possibly override) when prompted.
Uninstall:
Deactivate in your Mod Manager; if manually uninstalling, go to your Fallout 4 Data folder, then Interface, then DEF_CONF, then delete DEF_HUD.xml
NOTE: the crosshair’s a small dot in all presets, but I’d suggest removing it altogether from the in-game settings for the best experience.
