Damaged Pip-Boy Recolors Collection
Simple recolors of your vanilla damaged Pip-boy.
Exterior, interior, lights, indicators, labels was changed and some decoration marks have been added.
Different themes, chose your favorite color (Installer included).
For now, ther is 3 themes available, more will come later… If someone want a specific color theme, feel free to ask in the comment section.
Installation :
First of all, if it’s not already done, check this out :
– FALLOUT 4: Enabling Modding for PC by Gopher
– FALLOUT 4: Installing Mods on PC (MANUALLY) by Gopher
A) You are using Nexus Mod Manager (download and/or install with it) :
1 – There is an installer for that, just follow it and choose your favorite options.
2 – If you plan to eventually change the color, KEPP A BACKUP OF THE .RAR FILE (the one in the NMM folder will be deleted at this moment).
3 – When you want to change the color, you’ll have to uninstall (not disable) and reinstall it completely.
B) You are NOT USING Nexus Mod Manager :
1 – Open the .rar file you downloaded and the chosen folder you want for the background ( “XX ‘color'”).
2 – Extract its contents in the “Fallout 4\Data\” file replace any existing file *(see : Compatibility)
3 – When you want to change the color, repeat this with another chosen folder.
Complete manual uninstall :
Delete these files in folder “Data\Textures\animobjects\pipboy\” :
– “pipboy01_d.dds”
– “pipboy02_d.dds”
– “PipBoyGlow01_d.dds”
– “PipBoyInterior01_d.dds”
– “PipBoyLabels01_d.dds”
Compatibility :
Of course, this mod conflicts with all mods who change the colors of the pip-boy (the files above) and will replace these textures added by other mods.
