WHAT IT DOES:
The title is pretty self-explanatory: the vanilla game uses and ASPC reference plus 3 (three!) acoustic boxes inside Home Plate, placed in the warehouse area, that continously loop a generic and really loud “whoooom” noise that can distract you. This mod simply alters the audio played by these acoustic boxes, replacing it with a dummy reference that points to… nothing! So this mod achieves the best with the minimum load (this mod is only 2 kb! No audio files, no “dirty” strings, nothing!). Other locations won’t be affected 😉

THE RESULTS? ASTONISHING!

IS THIS MOD COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER “HOME PLATE” MODS?
Since this is a very clean mod, there should be not compatibility issues. The references it creates uses a 6 digits personal ID code, so they would not conflict with other mods.
If you use Home Plate Full Workbench by g10stpd you’ll have to install my mod AFTER, otherwise it won’t work (no bugs or CTD, you’re safe!).

WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THIS MOD?
The No_HP_noise.esp is part of the Sound Of Silence mod, but it is STANDALONE. You can find the standalone version here or in the “miscellaneous” section of the download page of Sound Of Silence mod. You might want to try the immersion of Sound Of Silence: this mod comes also included in the latest installer version.

INSTALLATION (NMM – RECOMMENDED):
1. Download the Installer in the downloads page.
2. Install it and enable it via Nexus Mod Manager.
3. Play it.

INSTALLATION (MANUAL):
1a. Download .zip file.
2a. Copy SoundOfSilence – No_HP_Noise.esp into your …/Data (from your installation folder).
3a. Open plugins.txt which you can find at C:\Users\\AppData\Fallout4 and add the name of the .esp you choose (e.g. SoundOfSilence – No_HP_Noise.esp).
