ESDF Fix – AutoHotkey Workaround

Hardcoded keypresses make ESDF practically unplayable. This AutoHotkey script will function as a temporary workaround. Includes a pause feature to temporarily disable the script while in game, for usage with Steam chat or console, for instance.

Installation and usage:
Download AutoHotkey at www.autohotkey.com/
Download this script and extract it to a convenient location.
(Optional) Review script in Notepad, and make any needed personal changes.
(Optional) Ensure that Fallout 4’s keybinds are on their default settings for simplicity.
Double-click the script to run the script.
Run Fallout 4, press ‘pause’ to temporarily disable the script and ‘pause’ again to re-enable it.

To use this backup:
Create ‘Fallout4.ahk’ in a convenient location.
Using notepad, copy and paste the contents of this paste into the newly created file.
Save & run.
