Combat Armor Palette
Welcome, welcome. This is my first mod for Fallout 4 and it is a very simple one.
There are many “attempts” at retexturing the Combat Armor. This is, however, a two-step process. In addition to downloading this (or any other “re-color”) mod for the combat armor, I recommend you also download the 4k Combat Armor Retexture by Leyr and use them together!
In any case, this mod simply redoes the palette which affects the color of the armor, while Leyr’s retexture takes care of the diffuse, specular and normals of the actual texture.
I’ve given each variation it’s own color that I personally feel make sense. These are fairly basic edits to the palette file. I’m open to feedback and suggestions, but keep in mind that color palettes are new in Fallout 4 and this is just a start, I may make better palettes in the future.
This mod will be compatible with any combat armor retexture that modifies the actual textures but not the palette. If there is a mod that does both but you’d rather use my palette for whatever reason, just install it AFTER the other texture mod.
I recommend installing with Nexus Mod Manager and will not offer support for other install methods on any of my mods.
