MacCready Replacer
Just a small mod that I created for my own game. This modifies MacCready’s face, courtesy of Face Ripper and FO4Edit.
Just install the file to your ‘fallout4/data’ folder, and activate the .esp either in NMM or the main fallout 4 menu.
If there’s anything about him you want to change:
1) Open the console and type ‘player.placeatme 0002740E’. This will place a copy of MacCready in your vicinity.
2) Use the console command ‘tfc 1’ to freeze everything and allow you to move the flycam around to get a good view of his face. Make sure you are looking at the newly-spawned COPY of MacCready.
3) Next use the console, click on the copy and write down the number at the top of the console. That is his refID and you’ll need it later.
4) Type ‘slm 0002740E’. This will open the looks menu for him, and you can change whatever you like. Select ‘enter’ when done and exit the menu as you did at the beginning of the game.
5) Next open the console, click on your altered copy and type ‘disable’. The copy will disappear.
6) Navigate to the original MacCready, open the console and click on him. type ‘slm ******’ where the number is the one that just appeared above the console.
7) When the looks menu opens and you attempt to make changes, it should revert to the ‘Copy’ of MacCready you edited earlier. Click enter and exit the menu.
8) Delete the copied MacCready (which you have already disabled) by typing ‘markfordelete’ and using the RefID you wrote down in step 3.
Done!
Required Mods: More Custom Eyes
If you would like to change MacCready’s Eye color, Navigate to the ‘Eyes02’ folder in ‘fallout4/data/textures/actors/character’ folder and substitute the ‘eyeshazelgreen’ file for your chosen color. Alternatively, follow the steps outlined above.
