Summer Shorts – 7 Recolours
Do you think the Wasteland is severely lacking in loud shirts? If not, this isn’t the mod for you! If yes, continue on!
This is my first mod, so it’s not perfect, I know. I’ve done my best, but if there are any glaring mistakes in game, please let me know so I can fix them! I have tested it, but I may have missed something. A known problem is the last button can stretch – this is an issue that was not able to be fixed by just moving the button over to the right so I am going to assume it is a mesh issue. It’s hardly noticeable, though.
The three versions (all for vanilla body) are:
* Beige Floral with dark shoes.
* Dark Magenta Floral with white shoes.
* Tattoo print with dark shoes.
NEW (added 12/02 – also all vanilla body):
* Patriot with white shoes.
* Purple Baroque with white shoes.
* Polka with white shoes.
* Paisley with white shoes.
I’ve labelled each one clearly in the images section in case you have trouble (I’ve also included shots of the dark/white shoes)! I plan on doing some more retextures within the next week. If you have a pattern or a suggestion, I’d love to hear it! Please keep in mind that I’m a newbie and anything mesh related is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy beyond my limited skillset.
IMPORTANT: please only install one of these retextures at a time, otherwise you’re gonna have a really loud shirt in all of the wrong ways!
INSTALLATION: Use the Mod Manager, or drag the ‘textures’ folder into your Fallout 4 ‘Data’ folder.
FAQ:
Q: Why are they so clean?
A: The original summer shorts texture is also very clean. If you don’t like it, don’t use it. You’re welcome to open the diff file in photoshop and add your own dirt if it bothers you that much.
Q: What mods are you using in the screenshots?
A: I’m using the Realshade ENB and Wasteland Scratchers for the face tattoo. Body skin texture is a personal retexture.
Q: CBBE?
A: No. As I said above, I can’t do mesh work.
OTHER: The first retexture I did was the tattoo print one, and I used wasdmoving’s gorgeous nautical retexture as the base as I didn’t know how to extract the files from the game myself. Thank you for helping me get started!!
