Med-Tek Facial Reconstruction – Additional Face Paint

This file contains several face paints designed by Gizmodian.
At the moment they replace some of the original textures. When possible, I will make an addon instead of a replacer.

The original size of the textures was 2048×2048. Unfortunately, I have not been able to make them work ingame, so I reduced them to 1024×1024. I also encountered this problem while trying to replace other facial features, such as brows. If anybody knows a solution, please let me know.

Use 7zip or WinRar to extract the files.
Move the Data folder to your Fallout 4 folder.

You can find the Skyrim folder here: Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4

When that is done, navigate to Documents\My Games\Fallout4 and open Fallout4.ini
Find the line sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\ and replace it with sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\

If you would like to replace only one or a few of the face paint textures, check the images attached to this file to find out which ones are replaced.

Remove the following files:

Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint1.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint2.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint3.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint4.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint5.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint6.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint7.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint8.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint9.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint10.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\facepaint11.dds
